Polyplastics Assumes Majority Ownership of TOPAS Advanced Polymers

Increased Stake Brings Greater Resources to TOPAS Business

FRANKFURT, Germany, 31 March 2017 – Effective as of April 2017, Polyplastics is increasing its ownership stake in TOPAS Advanced Polymers from the previous 45% to 51%, assuming majority control of the business. To denote this closer alliance between Polyplastics and TOPAS Advanced Polymers, a new TOPAS logo has been introduced, utilizing the same corporate colors as the Polyplastics Group.

There will be no change in the structure or operations of TOPAS Advanced Polymers as a result of this ownership shift. As they have for over a decade, the two businesses will continue to work closely together to grow the global markets for their respective industry-leading families of materials.
