The production plant for TOPAS COC is located at Werk Ruhrchemie to the west of Oberhausen and about  240 km from Frankfurt/Main. The Ruhrchemie complex began operations in 1927 as Kohlechemie AG and was renamed to Ruhrchemie AG in 1928. It currently employs 1.300 people and covers 120 hectare near the Rhine River. TOPAS Advanced Polymers has been producing COC here since 2000.

By car:

From interstate A3:
The fastest route is via A3. Exit at Oberhausen-Holten and take the following roads: Königstraße, Kurfürstenstraße, Siegesstraße and Bahnstraße until you reach Otto-Roelen-Straße, where the Werk Ruhrchemie reception gate (Tor 1) is located.

From interstate A59:
When travelling on A59: exit at Walsum /Holten/Wehofen and turn right towards Holten. At the fifth traffic light turn right onto Otto-Roelen-Straße, where you wiill find the Werk Ruhrchemie reception gate.

Using public transport:

Take the direct train from Düsseldorf airport to the central station in Oberhausen (approx. 35 km). From here take bus CE96 to Oberhausen-Holten-Markt. Get off at the "Ruhrchemie" bus stop at the reception gate (Tor 1). The journey from the central station to the Ruhrchemie site takes approximately 25 minutes.
